Trenchless Pipe Installation with Compressed Air
ESSIG earth rockets operate using the soil displacement method. Driven by compressed air and a percussion piston, the rocket is driven through the ground in a controlled manner. It displaces the soil without excavating it. Cables or pipes can be directly pulled into the resulting bore or installed subsequently. The result: a clean, fast and surface-friendly installation. This method of installing cables or pipes creates a low-effort alternative for power, gas, fiber optic and water lines.
THE ESSIG EARTH ROCKET
AT A GLANCE
Robust and Durable
Stable construction for maximum service life.
High Range
Bores up to 20m in length for efficient pipe installation.
Powerful in Operation
The stepped head penetrates even harder soils.
Flexibly Controllable
Easy switching between forward and reverse.
STRAIGHT-LINE CONSTRUCTION FOR LASTING STABILITY
The housing, piston and control mechanism are designed for durability and ease of maintenance. The precise coordination of components ensures consistent impact force and constant advance performance, even on long installation sections.
MATCHING ACCESSORIES
FOR YOUR REQUIREMENTS
For flexible operation, numerous accessory components are available – from control lines and lubricants to guide pipes and special tools.
OUR HIGHLIGHTS
IN FUNCTION AND HANDLING
Precise Straight-Line Travel for Pinpoint Results
The construction of ESSIG earth rockets ensures stable straight-line travel even over longer distances. This achieves high targeting accuracy, minimizing rework and significantly increasing efficiency on the construction site. The result: faster project completion and reliable results with every bore.
Interchangeable Drill Heads for Every Soil Type
Thanks to interchangeable drill heads, the earth rocket can be optimally adapted to
different soil hardnesses. This ensures maximum performance
and efficiency in every area of application.
Reliable Manual Gear Shifting
Switching between forward and reverse gear is done simply by pulling the compressed air hose. After switching off and on again, the earth rocket automatically restarts in forward gear. This analog control is particularly robust, easy to operate and significantly more fail-safe than electronic systems.
